My British Soldier from Pirates of the Carribean. He and Sarah devised most of his costume.

The PPA gals! Cindi, me, Aimee (Princess Leia), Denise (Fairy Godparent, Wanda). I had a shirt on that looked like tatoos and "look like" leather wranglers from Big R! They were on sale for $2.88 because, come on, who would buy them except for a halloween costume!! It was tough getting out of my car because they didn't slide on the leather seats!

Lindsey's Wedding

The kids and I wen't and spent a fun weekend with Greg's mom in early October. Greg's cousin Lindsey was getting married. Greg and Bob however went to a golf tournement in Reno. But just as well we had a very fun weekend with Judy! We went shopping for clothes for the wedding (also to be used for Christmas!) The kids looked sooooo cute! It was a beautiful wedding too! She couldn't have asked for better weather!

Tulelake Fair

Sarah, Erika and Reese

I was so glad and surprised that Reese wanted to do this. He really isn't much of a ride go'er. He loved it! Tulelake fair is the best fair around. We had so much fun. Sarah and her friend Erika got to run around and go on rides by themselves so it was fun to just hang out with Reese. We went right after school so there weren't very many people there yet, it was sooooo nice! Looking back at the pictures now I miss the sunny warm days!!

First day of school!

Today was the first day of school. Sarah was so nervous she couldn't even eat breakfast and that is her favorite meal of the day!

Reese was excited but he didn't seem to nervous.

It is going to be an interesting year. With all the budget cuts in Oregon we lost two teachers so they have had to blend some of the classes. Sarah's class was already 28 so they left them on their own. But Reese (who is going into 1st grade)is in a k-1 class, with 34 kids. I guess I am a little worried about how it is going to go. Luckily his teacher is a great teacher but it will still be dificult. The next grade up is a 2-3 blend and then a 3-4 blend, 5th and 6th are by themselves. Which both the 5th and 6th are big classes so they couldn't really do much with those. We will see how it goes!!
